My name is Janelle, but I hate being called that. I prefer to be called Jay, Nelle, Ellie or Nellie. Anything but my full name.
I was born on March 22nd, 1989.
I am from Trinidad and Tobago, in the Caribbean.
I am hearing impaired, having lost the hearing in my right ear to Meningococcal Meningitis when I was six.
I know some sign language.
I have loved photography for years but was never able to afford a camera. My godfather bought me my HP Photosmart in 2007, yet I prefer to use my mother's Sony Cyber-Shot - it is SO much better than mine.
I also love drawing and painting.
I was introduced to deviantART in 2004 by but only joined recently.
My favourite musicians are My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Avril Lavigne, Michael Jackson and The All-American Rejects. And recently, Red Vellum Razorblades.
I am OBSESSED with the classics. I love Bugs Bunny. All the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies. My favourite movies are Meet Me In St. Louis, Singin' In The Rain, Mary Poppins, The Easter Parade, The Wizard Of Oz and The Sound Of Music. (Titanic is my favourite modern movie of ALL TIME)
My favourite classic actress is Judy Garland.
My favourite classic actor is Fred Astaire/Gene Kelly (Can't choose)
My favourite modern actress is Kate Winslet.
My favourite modern actor is Johnny Depp/Leonardo DiCaprio (Can't choose)
I love ALL of Tim Burton's movies.
My favourite animals are cats. (I luuurve white tigers )
I love fantasy things like Faeries, Dragons, warlocks, etc.
My favourite pictures are of woods, glens and forests; anything that looks magical.
Yes, I love Peter Pan, lol.
My favourite place on earth is the UK, even though I've never been there. Its history, its castles, woods and fields are the most beautiful, magical places I've ever seen.
I love Astronomy and Palaeontology. (And Egyptology, Philosophy and Literature)
